Same home address, but need to add/update a mailing address?

Missed the deadline to register online? You can still vote!
Same Day Voter Registration (also known as Conditional Voter Registration) is state law. It means that you can register and vote on Election Day. Head to your Polling Place and let them know you want to “register conditionally and vote provisionally”.
Still registered at a previous address within San Francisco, you can still vote!
Visit your assigned Polling Place based on your new address, so your ballot includes all the contests in which you’re eligible to vote.
Ways to Vote
By mail
You do not need to apply to receive a mail ballot! All registered voters will be sent a vote-by-mail ballot in early October. It will be sent to your home address, unless your voter file has a different mailing address.
Be sure to follow the instructions in the packet to make sure your vote is counted! And return your ballot on time — either by mail (postmarked by November 3) or by dropping off a polling place (byNovember 3 by 8pm)
In person before Election Day
The City Hall Voting Center opens October 5 for voting. To protect public health, it will be located the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on 99 Grove Street (between Polk and Larkin).
It is open every weekday: October 5 - November 2, from 8am - 5pm
It is open two weekends: October 24 - 25 and October 31 - November 1, from 10am - 4pm.
In person on Election Day (November 3)
Find your Polling Place or vote at City Hall Voting Center.
Polls are open 7am - 8pm. As long as you are in line by 8pm, you can vote.
